Chapter " Enoch’s Travel to Heaven ",

IgnoranceOF THE TERMS. When the Torah lists all of Adam’s descendants, it says at what age each of them died, except Enoch, about whom it speaks in a different way: Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.” Genesis, 5, 24. 24.   

The Talmud gives the details: Once, when Enoch was teaching people, the God’s angel appealed to him, and gave him a message that it had been decided to summon him to the heaven, so he would teach the sons of the God, as he had been teaching the sons of men before that. <...> And so the storm fell upon… A fiery chariot with fiery horses appeared in a whirlwind, and Enoch ascended into heaven.” (“Sefer Gaiashar”).[1]

Once my grandmother Malvina whose mother tongue was Hungarian needed to say in Russian, which was comprehensible to us, the words “a wheat field’. For a long time, she desperately tried to find an equivalent of it, and, in the long run, she said,

“Bread on feet.”

At first we did not understand what she meant, but when we did, we burst out laughing. Since then this bread on feet became a favorite saying in our family, as a synonym to wheat field.

This episode is an example of how people who have a very poor vocabulary do somehow find the way out: using figurativeness (it is most frequently done by children)… Something like this happened to the above-mentioned quotation from the Talmud.

One has an impression that the old Jew who recorded this episode with Enoch just did not know the technical terms which must have already existed at that time: space ship (fiery chariot”) with rocket motors (fiery horses”) and exhaust in the back (appeared in a whirlwind”; a variant in “The Second Book of Samuel” is “on the wings of the wind”). The notion angel is used here in its original meaning of messenger: the God’s angel appealed to him, and gave him a message”.



the first. Why was Enoch so honored that the God took him into heaven? The answer to this question can be found in a well-known apocrypha: “And he was the first among men that are born on earth who learnt writing and knowledge and wisdom and who wrote down the signs of heaven according to the order of their months in a book, that men might know the seasons of the years according to the order of their separate months. And he was the first to write a testimony and he testified to the sons of men among the generations of the earth, and recounted the weeks of the jubilees (fifty years), and made known to them the days of the years, and set in order the months and recounted the Sabbaths of the years as we (angels) made them, known to him.” The Book of Jubilees, p. 24.

That is, he was the first literate man in history (“learnt writing”), the first writer (“to write a testimony”), the first wise man (learnt… wisdom), the first scientist (wrote down the signs of heaven according to the order of their months in a book, that men might know the seasons of the years according to the order of their separate months”), the first prophet (testified to the sons of men among the generations of the earth”).

Strictly speaking, Adam had approximately the same qualities, and he precisely was the first prophet, while Enoch was the second one. However, there is no mistake in the given information from “The Book of Jubilees”, as Adam was not given birth by a woman, but was created by the God-Extraterrestrial in his residence unknown to us, and Enoch, indeed, was the first prophet “among men that are born on earth”.



The mostANCIENT BOOK. Enoch was a descendant of Adam in the 7-th generation: his great great great great grandson, and simultaneously Noah’s great grandfather, — the Noah who had saved himself in his ark during the Deluge. We have already said that the life of the patriarchs who had lived before the Deluge was ten times longer than ours, that is why Enoch lived at the same time as his great great great great grandfather Adam: “When Adam, the forefather of mankind, was still living, Enoch (a contemporary of Adam during three hundred years) prophesied the inevitable advent of the God (Messiah) with His angels at the end of the centuries to render justice to dishonest people.”[2]

This must have been the oldest prophecy about the Messiah.

If one goes out of the Judaist chronology that now it is the year of 5763 from the creation of the world, then Enoch had lived two thousand years before Moses; but if we go out of the archeologists’ hypothesis that the Deluge took place 7750 years ago, then Enoch had lived four thousand years before Moses.

The fate of “The Book of Enoch” was uneven: “In the old Christian world “The Book of Enoch” was considered, though not canonical, but of exceptional authority. It was directly cited by the author of the Epistles Judah, indirectly hinted at by Apostle Peter, referred to by Clement of Alexandria, Origen and Tertullianus, and also the author of the non-canonical Epistle of Varnava (the latter even spoke about it as a part of the Holy Writ). After the canon of the Holy Writ was formed, the authority of “The Book of Enoch” died away, and the text of it was lost.

It was again discovered only in 1773 in the Ethiopian language (amhara) in the double translation from Aramean or Hebraic through Greek, but in full which was very rare. Later two big fragments of the Greek text were found during diggings in Ahmima (Egypt), and a great number of short Aramean fragments were found in Qumran (Palestine). Their comparison allows to consider the given text translated from Ethiopian authentic.” [3]

As to me, I consider this book genuine. But with one correction that, as it is almost twice as old as Torah, then, correspondingly, it was considerably more edited, copied, and translated from one language to another, — and so it was in considerably greater degree distorted. However, if we take into account its record breaking age, — then, thank God, that it has been preserved, even in such state, till our time.



WHO ARE THE WATCHERS? Why was the location where the extraterrestrials landed called Sumer, i. e. “The Land of Watchers? The explanation of this can be found in an apocrypha: “And in the second week of the tenth jubilee (458-464 years after beginning of the world) Mahalalel took unto him to wife Dinah, the daughter of Barakiel the daughter of his father's brother, and she bare him a son in the third week in the sixth year (470 years after beginning of the world), and he called his name Jared, for in his days the angels of the Lord descended on the earth, those who are named the Watchers, that they should instruct the children of men, and that they should do 16 judgment and uprightness on the earth.” [4]

This is something like missionaries, and, at the same time, volunteer militia.

And what is the connection between the name “Jared” and descendance of the angels on the Earth (“and he called his name Jared, for in his days the angels of the Lord descended on the earth”)? The connection is the following: “The pun: «Jared» and the verb «descend» have the same root -yrd-“.[5]

One of the first duties of the angels-watchers on the planet of Earth was to guard the Garden of Eden, especially the tree of life (the tree of immortality), — first of all, from Adam and Eve driven out: So He drove the man out; and at the east of the garden of Eden He stationed the cherubim (angels) and the flaming sword which turned every direction (laser weapon) to guard the way to the tree of life.” Genesis, 3, 24.

What did those cherubim look like? “The cherubim mentioned in this episode are known from ancient Near Eastern lore as mythological winged animals, usually with human faces (extraterrestrial with a helicopter-knapsack).”  [6]

And one of the archangels was appointed governor of Eden: “Gabriel, who is described as possessing 140 pairs of wings (in a helicopter with the 140 blades of propellers), is the governor of Eden and ruler of the cherubim.” [7]

But, in general, there must have been a more serious reason to call the angels watchers. If we pursue Sitchin’s hypothesis, then, at least in the beginning, the most responsible task of the extraterrestrials on the Earth was guarding their cosmodrome, and their dwelling, and it means that the uncivilized terrestrials contacted to the extraterrestrials primarily as the watchers who did not let them in a certain place. At that time, there was not yet such word, as extraterrestrial in the language of the terrestrials that was the very reason why the word watcher became their first name.

Contacts with angels were, apparently, intensive in ancient time, — and religion is trying to shade it now: “Part of the reason the Apocrypha and the Pseudepigrapha failed to become authoritative was that later rabbis believed the authors of these texts overemphasized the role and importance of angels so much that Judaism was on the verge of falling into the apostasy of polytheism. <...> Despite this move to downplay angels, much significant angel lore was codified in the Talmud, for example, the following ideas: Angels walk upright, speak Hebrew, and are endowed with understanding; they can fly in the air, move from one end of the world to another...”  [8]

Note: “Pseudepigrapha” are works attributed to “to authorities of the remote antiquity”.[9]



arrived by flight. According to Dal, newcomer is “a man who came, who dropped in, who called at; a stranger, a foreigner, an alien”.[10] And writers of science fiction began to use another meaning of this word: “an extraterrestrial who arrived on the Earth by flight”.[11]

Besides, the basic vocabulary in ancient time already had a very close word — angel: “Hebraic word malah (טלאך) and Greek angelos (αγγελος) mean envoy, messenger”.[12] And from Qumran manuscripts (II century B. C. — II century A. D.) discovered half a century ago, we can see, “that the religious conscience of the community of the Dead See presupposed the existence of the world inhabited with numerous heavenly being, whose mission was to govern all action of man, being permanently and invisibly near him”.[13] And the Christian theologist Ioann Damaskin (VIII century A. D.) wrote, They are strong and ready to execute divine will, and due to agility inherent to their nature, immediately turn up everywhere, wherever the divine sign tells them; and guard the regions of the Earth; and govern the people and the countries, conformably to what is ordered by the Creator; and manage our affair, and help us. In general, by both the divine will, and the divine order they are higher than we, and are always near the God.” (“About Angels”).[14]

As the word “angel” adjoins the word “newcomer”, so, in its turn, does the word “angel” to the word “God”. The matter is that these two notions — God and angel (or angel of the God) are not always distinctly separated speaking about one of them; sometimes, they clearly speak about both of them and sometimes it remains unclear.

In general, angels are just common gods. Or, on the other side, the God is just the principal angel.

Thus, the contemporary newcomer and the ancient angel… And maybe these words are not only close lexicologically, but in their essence, as well? Maybe, the ancient people, in the beginning, assumed that angels were just men-newcomers from another planet; and only later to this assumption was added the whole specific stereotype of religious behavior: FEAR OF GOD, REVERENT TREMBLE, HOLY SECRET, BLIND FAITH.

I must add that in my opinion, the word newcomer in this meaning is not quite accurate, it would be more accurate to say: the one who arrived by flight.



ANGELS IN SPACESUITS.  Unlike the God, the angels were seen by many men, “There was a man, whose appearance was like appearance of brass…” The book of Ezekiel, 40, 3. “His body also was like beryl (emerald), his face had the appearance of lightning, his eyes were like flaming torches, his arms and feet like the gleam of polished bronze, and the sound of his words like the sound of a tumult.” The Book of Daniel, 10, 6.

I understand it in such a way.

In the atmosphere of the Earth not quite fit for them, the extraterrestrials preferred to stay in spacesuits (whose appearance was like appearance of brass”; “his body also was like beryl… like the gleam of polished bronze”); in his helmet there was a transparent, if one look from the inside, window (“his face had the appearance of lightning”); in the forehead of the helmet — two small lanterns-searchlights (“his eyes were like flaming torches”); his voice was amplified with a dynamo (“the sound of his words like the sound of a tumult”).

The spacesuits of the extraterrestrials gleamed in darkness with electric light, “And they took and brought me to a place in which those who were there were like flaming fire, 2 and, when they wished, they appeared as men.”  The Book of Enoch, 4, 1.

That is, with a spacesuits on, the extraterrestrials looked like “flaming fire”, and without their spacesuits — “when they wished, they appeared as men”.

We can see analogy in Muhammad’s opinion, “They (angels) are created, according to Alkoran «from fire» (7, 12), according to hadithes (legends) — from light”.[15]

One must say that the special clothes of cosmonaut were already known to Sumerians, “Lady of Heaven: she puts on the Garment of Heaven, she valiantly ascends towards Heaven”.[16] At the same time, in case of need, those clothes “Garment of Heaven” protected one from mechanical action, i.e. using our terminology, they were bullet-proof, “Ninurta was at first astounded by her decision to «enter alone the enemy land»; but since her mind was made up, he provided her with «clothes which should make her unafraid». [17]

Similar clothes were known to ancient Egyptians, too: “And Ammon of Pnub (god of Sun[18]) came out of the great temple. He gave me sovereighty over Nubia and his powerful armour (?).”[19]

The question mark in the parentheses belongs to the author of the book, professor Boris Turayev who died in 1920 when a serious scholar could not afford interpreting this armour as a spacesuit of a cosmonaut. Nevertheless, even his question mark is significant…

About other wonderful peculiarities of the garments of angels the extraterrestrials we can judge by our contemporary scientific works: ”The employees of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) are working at the project of creating a superuniform for American Army soldiers. 50 million dollars were allotted to the new research center named Institute of Soldiers Nanotechnology (ISN). The uniform of the soldiers of the future will enable them to walk on vertical walls, reflect bullets, treat by themselves their wounds, and be invisible.” (“The Army of Invisible Soldiers”).[20]

Note: Nanotechnology is “the technology of objects with sizes are of 10-9m (atoms, molecules). Processes of nanotechnology are governed by the laws of quantum mechanics.  Nanotechnology includes atomic assembling of molecules, new methods of recording and reading information, local stimulation of chemical reactions on molecular level and other things.” [21]

According to apocalyptic work “Ascent of Moses”, he once put on a similar spacesuit, as well: As reward for modesty displayed by Moses when the God sent him to the Pharaoh to demand liberation of the Jewish people, the God orders to Metatron (Enoch) to allow Moses to ascend to heaven. After Metatron transformed Moses’s body into a fiery one, similar to the bodies of angels, he himself carries him (on a spaceship) through all seven heavens (orbits of seven planets).” [22]



THE FACE OF THE CHIEF. EHIND THE WINDOW OF SPACE HELMET. According to Enoch, it was a taboo to see the face of the Chief Extraterrestrial: “None of the angels could enter and could behold His face by reason of the magnificence and glory and no flesh could behold Him. <...> And until then I had been prostrate on my face, trembling: and the Lord called me with His own mouth, and said to me: «Come hither, Enoch, and hear my word.»

And one of the holy ones came to me and waked me, and He made me rise up and approach the door: and I bowed my face downwards.” The Book of Enoch, 3, 35; 3, 38-39.

About the same taboo Sitchin speaks in his retelling of an ancient Egyptian epos: “On his way down, the king sees "faceless gods" - gods whose faces cannot be seen. Offended or simply curious, he pleads with them: "Uncover your faces, take off your head coverings, when ye meet me; for, behold, I [too] am a mighty god come to be among you." But they do not heed his plea to show their faces; and the texts explain that even they, "these hidden beings, neither see nor look upon" their own chief, the god Seker "when he is in this form himself, when he is inside his abode in the earth."" [23]

Four thousand years after Enoch, and, maybe, above-mentioned pharaoh, the taboo to see the God’s face was infallibly observed by Moses, too.

However, the God promised not to hide His face from the people of Israel in the future: "«Then they will know that I am the Lord their God because I made them go into exile among the nations, and then gathered them again to their own land; and I will leave none of them there any longer. I will not hide My face from them any longer, for I will have poured out My Spirit on the house of Israel,» declares the Lord God.” The Book of Ezekiel, 39, 28-29.

But why was it taboo to see God’s face before advent of this future? We do know from the Torah that the God created “man in Our image, according to Our likeness…" Genesis, 1, 26.  What is here to hide?

We can only make assumptions about it. Such, for instance: the extraterrestrials could not stay on the planet of Earth without their spacesuit, or, at least, without their helmets, except in special rooms with the air composition they needed, like the one on their planet (the terrestrial cosmonauts in our days found themselves in the same situation on the Moon). Therefore, the God could not even physically show Enoch His face, as it was hidden behind the helmet impenetrable from outside.

It is natural that the extraterrestrials did not want to show their vulnerability to the indigenes of Earth. The history of conquering America by conquistadors demonstrates just this: as long as the native took the conquistadors for immortal gods, they submitted to their will without murmur, but, as soon as they were ordinary men, they began to resist them obdurately and heroically...

Hence, the following conclusions are drawn: many monarchs on the Earth (pharaohs, kings, sultans, and so on) inherited from the extraterrestrials a custom of hiding their faces from their subjects; to see their faces was a privilege of court only — as to the people, they had to lower their eyes and prone on the ground, at the fear of death, while the monarch was passing or riding by.

As to the monarch, there is a purely physical aspect here, as well. The matter is that animals take a direct look into their eyes as a challenge; in the behavior of the monarchs such a natural biological reaction evolved into another way of propagating among their subjects servile reverence — the eternal phenomenon of  cult of personality. Besides, the monarchs propagated a notion of themselves as handsome giants, but, in fact, some of them were feeble, rachitic, with defective faces, sometimes still silly children, sometimes already ape-like old men — so, how could they help hiding their appearance?

PERSONAL BAN. One of many sons of King David raped his own sister, David’s daughter, and another son, Absalom, killed the rapist and ran away from the king’s palace, in fear of being punished for taking the law into his own hands. However the king said, “However the king said, «Let him turn to his own house, and let him not see my face.»

So Absalom turned to his own house and did not see the king's face. <...>

Now Absalom lived two full years in Jerusalem, and did not see the king's face. Then Absalom sent for Joab, to send him to the king, but he would not come to him. So he sent again a second time, but he would not come. Therefore he said to his servants, «See, Joab's field is next to mine, and he has barley there; go and set it on fire.»

So Absalom's servants set the field on fire. Then Joab arose, came to Absalom at his house and said to him, «Why have your servants set my field on fire?»

Absalom answered Joab, «Behold, I sent for you, saying, `Come here, that I may send you to the king, to say: why have I come from Geshur? It would be better for me still to be there. Now therefore, let me see the king's face, and if there is iniquity in me, let him put me to death.`»

So when Joab came to the king and told him, he called for Absalom. Thus he came to the king and prostrated himself on his face to the ground before the king, and the king kissed Absalom.” The Book of Joshua, 14, 24; 14, 28-33.

Thus, a ban to see the king proved to be a very efficient punishment, for Absalom preferred death to this ban: if there is iniquity in me, let him put me to death”.



The deputes. The duties of the Chief Extraterrestrial’s deputies were specialized: “And I, Enoch, alone saw the vision, the ends of all things: and no man shall see as I have seen. And these are the names of the holy angels who watch. Uriel, one of the holy angels, who is over the world and over Tartarus. Raphael, one of the holy angels, who is over the spirits of men. Raguel, one of the holy angels who takes vengeance on the world of the luminaries. Michael, one of the holy angels, to wit, he that is set over the best part of mankind and over chaos. Saraqael, one of the holy angels, who is set over the spirits, who sin in the spirit. Gabriel, one of the holy angels, who is over Paradise and the serpents and the Cherubim.” The Book of Enoch, 4, 26-27.

In this case “angels who watch” means: have their duties. What duties?

Uriel (who is over the world and over Tartarus”) — the astronomer; Raphael (“who is over the spirits of men”) — gathering a computer dossier on men; Raguel (“who takes vengeance on the world of the luminaries”) — heads energy effect on the orbits of planets and other elements of heaven mechanics; Michael (“he that is set over the best part of mankind”) — taking care of the mongrels, descendants of Adam and Eve (later — of Israelites); Saraqael (“set over the spirits, who sin in the spirit”) — providing watch over the “detrimental elements”; Gabriel (“who is over Paradise and the serpents and the Cherubim”) — is responsible for “concomitant economy.

Now I want to go back to the words I put in the capital letters, bold type, at the beginning of this long quotation from the “Book of Enoch”: saw the vision, the ends of all THINGS, in order to draw the readers’ attention to the fact that, by Sumerian record, god Ea who created Adapa let him, as well as Enoch later, “the inside of heaven and Earth”.[24] And, as in Enoch youth Adam was still living, Enoch, most likely, had heard his stories about what he saw for himself later, when he was taken to heaven.



PLANETARIUM OR OCEANARIUM? When Enoch was ascended to the space station, he found himself in a palace that struck his imagination: “I went in till I drew nigh to a wall which is built of crystals and surrounded by tongues of fire: and it began to affright  me. And I went into the tongues of fire and drew nigh to a large house which was built of crystals: and the walls of the house were like a tesselated floor (made) of crystals, and its groundwork was of crystal. Its ceiling was like the path of the stars and the lightnings, and between them were fiery cherubim, and their heaven was (clear as) water. A flaming fire surrounded the walls, and its portals blazed with fire. <...> And lo! there was a second house, greater than the former, and the entire portal stood open before me, and it was built of flames of fire. And in every respect it so excelled in splendour and magnificence and extent that I cannot describe to you its splendour and its extent. And its floor was of fire, and above it were lightnings and the path of the stars, and its ceiling also was flaming fire.” The Book of Enoch, 3, 23-26; 3, 29-31.

As we see, the palace was made of transparent materials unfamiliar to Enoch: “the walls of the house were like a tessellated floor (made) of crystals, and its groundwork was of crystal”. And they were lit with bright electric light also unfamiliar to Enoch: “I went into the tongues of fire”; “a flaming fire surrounded the walls, and its portals blazed with fire”; “it was built of flames of fire”; “its floor was of fire”; “its ceiling also was flaming fire”. Enoch was stunned at the sight of this palace: “in every respect it so excelled in splendour and magnificence and extent that I cannot describe to you its splendour and its extent”; “I drew nigh to a wall… <...> it began to affright  me”.

The ceiling of the palace looked like a planetarium, and the walls (?) — like oceanarium: “and above it were lightnings and the path of the stars, and its ceiling also was flaming fire”; “Its ceiling was like the path of the stars and the lightnings, and between them were fiery cherubim, and their heaven was (clear as) water”.

The motif of an oceanarium is also traced later, in the Gospel:  “And before the throne there was something like a sea of glass, like crystal…” The Revelation of St. John the Divine, 4, 6.



On the seventh heaven. Heaven got from the uncivilized, antediluvian Earth to the space station of the extraterrestrials, Enoch, as far as his inadequate terrestrial knowledge allowed him, joined their science of astronomy: “The book of the courses of the luminaries of the heaven, the relations of each, according to their classes, their dominion and their seasons, according to their names and places of origin, and according to their months, which Uriel, the holy angel, who was with me, who is their guide, showed me; and he showed me all their laws exactly as they are, and how it is with regard to all the years of the world and unto eternity, till the new creation is accomplished which dureth till eternity. <...> Such is the picture and sketch of every luminary which Uriel the archangel, who is their leader, showed unto me. And in those days the angel Uriel answered and said to me: «Behold, I have shown thee everything, Enoch, and I have revealed everything to thee that thou shouldst see this sun and this moon, and the leaders of the stars of the heaven and all those who turn them, their tasks and times and departures.» The Book of Enoch, 13, 1; 15, 42-43.

As we see, Enoch was introduced to this knowledge by both: a professional astronomer (“Uriel, the holy angel, who was with me, who is their guide, showed me”; “Uriel the archangel, who is their leader”), and a special reference book on astronomy (“the book of the courses of the luminaries of the heaven”). And the instruction was being given not so much for the sake of hospitality on the part of Uriel toward the guest from the Earth, as for Enoch’s enlightenment (and through him — the ignorant terrestrials, as well): And I saw how the stars of heaven come forth, and I counted the portals out of which they proceed, and wrote down all their outlets, of each individual star by itself, according to their number and their names, their courses and their positions, and their times and their months, as Uriel the holy angel who was with me showed me. He showed all things to me and wrote them down for me: also their names he wrote for me, and their laws and their companies.”  The Book of Enoch, 5, 64-65.

That is, the scheme of the stars of heaven in “the book of the courses of the luminaries of the heaven” was divided into sectors named by Enoch — “the portals out of which they proceed”.

Enoch studied separately the scheme of the movement of the two main luminaries: And I saw the chambers of the sun and moon, whence they proceed and whither they come again, and their glorious return (to another side of the Earth), and how one is superior to the other, and their stately orbit, and how they do not leave their orbit, and they add nothing to their orbit and they take nothing from it (move strictly by their orbits), and they keep faith with each other, in accordance with the oath by which they are bound together (according to the  laws of gravity).

And first the sun goes forth and traverses his path according to the commandment of the Lord of Spirits, and mighty is His name for ever and ever; and after that I saw the hidden and the visible path of the moon (the full cycle of moving by orbit), and she accomplishes the course of her path in that place by day and by night-the one holding a position opposite to the other before the Lord of Spirits; and they give thanks and praise and rest not; for unto them is their thanksgiving rest; for the sun changes oft for a blessing or a curse; and the course of the path of the moon is light to the righteous; and darkness to the sinners in the name of the Lord, who made a separation between the light and the darkness (the cycle of day and night); and divided the spirits of men; and strengthened the spirits of the righteous, In the name of His righteousness.” The Book of Enoch, 7, 35-37.

Serious knowledge of astronomy existing at Enoch’s time is also confirmed by contemporary “Sumerian” findings: A lens of considerable power was found in the ruins of Babylon; it was an inch and a half in diameter and nine-tenths of an inch thick. (Layard, " Nineveh and Babylon ", p. 16.)” [25] 

And also: “If this Sumerian map had been discovered and studied two centuries ago, astronomers would have deemed the Sumerian totally uninformed, foolishly imagining more planets beyond Saturn. Now, however, we know that Uranus and Neptune and Pluto are really there”.[26]

In general, there is in the Bible a notion “about many heavens” [27]:"Behold, to the Lord your God belong heaven and the highest heavens, the earth and all that is in it…” Deuteronomy, 10, 14; "But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain You, how much less this house which I have built!” Book of the Kings, 8, 27.

As “The Jewish Encyclopedia” by Brokgaus and Efron writes, “the Paradise was either on the third of seven heavens, or on the seventh of ten…” [28] Hence, the well-known phraseological expression which can be found in many languages: in English — "to be in the seventh heaven" (with happiness), in Russian — "быть на седьмом небе" and so on.

However not many people know that the notion of plurality of heavens is not a fairy-tale or fantasy, it has scientific grounds. The matter is that we underestimate the knowledge of astronomy by ancient people, but they indeed knew the orbits of the planets, there was not just a special word orbit at that time: as Byzantium theologist Ioann Damaskin wrote, “there are seven zones of heaven: the finest nature, like smoke, and that in each zone there is one of the planets. For they affirmed that there are seven planets: the Sun, the Moon, the Jupiter, the Mercury, the Mars, the Venus, and the Saturn”. (“About heaven”).[29]

Thus, the biblical expression “the heaven and the heavens of the heaven” would be more correct to translate as heaven and orbits. And it is quite possible that paradise — the civilization of extraterrestrial? — was just on one of the planets of the Solar system. And, exactly, on the seventh orbit —  on the seventh heaven.

As to Enoch, it looks as if the angels showed him an educational video about seven planets turning round their orbits, which were known at that time: “And there I saw seven stars of the heaven (corresponding to seven heavens) bound together (by orbits) in it, like great mountains and burning with fire (luminous in the night sky). Then I said: «For what sin are they bound, and on what account have they been cast in hither?»

Then said Uriel, one of the holy angels, who was with me, and was chief over them, and said: «Enoch, why dost thou ask, and why art thou eager for the truth? These are of the number of the stars of heaven, which have transgressed the commandment of the Lord, and are bound here till ten thousand years, the time entailed by their sins, are consummated.»Book of Enoch, 4, 30-33.

To Enoch’s naïve question "For what sin are they bound, and on what account have they been cast in hither? the extraterrestrial Uriel just gives a joking answer: they “are bound here till ten thousand years, the time entailed by their sins, are consummated”.



GEOGRAPHY. The angels also gave Enoch a lesson in geography, either from the orbit around the Earth, or as an educational movie: “I saw the mountains of the darkness of winter (polar night) and the place whence all the waters of the deep flow (waterfall). I saw the mouths of all the rivers of the earth (delta of the Tigris and Euphrates)  and the mouth of the deep (muzzle of a volcano). I saw the treasuries of all the winds (a polar zone): I saw how He had furnished with them the whole creation (climatic map) and the firm foundations of the earth (a geological cut). And I saw the corner-stone of the earth (one of poles): I saw the four winds which bear the earth (four directions on a compass) and the firmament of the heaven (an orbit of the Earth).” Book of Enoch, 4, 7-10.

Enoch calls the conditional lines of forces “winds”:  “And I saw how the winds stretch out the vaults of heaven, and have their station between heaven and earth: these are the pillars of the heaven. I saw the winds of heaven which turn and bring the circumference of the sun and all the stars to their setting. I saw the winds on the earth carrying the clouds: I saw the paths 6 of the angels. I saw at the end of the earth the firmament of the heaven above.” Book of Enoch, 4, 11-13.

Judging by all, the first two mentionings of “winds” (out of the tree underlined by me) are the traced paths of the bodies of the heaven as seen from the Earth on the hemisphere of the heaven; and the “paths of the angels” are the traced routes of their terrestrial aviation.

The angels also showed him the running volcanic lava: “And I came to a river of fire in which the fire flows like water and discharges itself into the great sea towards 6 the west.” Book of Enoch, 4, 5.

Do you remember Stalin’s great plan of the transformation of nature? Although, on the whole, it ended in a failure, including the death of the Aral sea, and other ecological catastrophies, however, it succeeded in some things; for instance: thousands of kilometers of forest strips, resisting, to a certain extent, dry winds, have been preserved thus far. And extraterrestrial civilization which is much older than ours has far greater possibilities for science and technology: if we learned how to make dams and artificial seas, then they may have created whole mountain ranges and oceans; we learnt how to make new breeds of animals and plants, and they — not just breeds, but kinds of animals and plants, and also new human races.

We can find traces of this extraterrestrial scientific-technical progress on our planet of Earth in the “Book of Enoch”, too: “Observe ye how the trees cover themselves with green leaves and bear fruit: wherefore give ye heed and know with regard to all His works, and recognize how He that liveth for ever hath made them so. And all His works go on thus from year to year for ever, and all the tasks which they accomplish for Him, and their tasks change not, but according as God hath ordained so is it done. And behold how the sea and the rivers in like manner accomplish and change not their tasks from His commandments.” Book of Enoch, 1, 15-16.



Accumulation of information. VIDEOCAMERA. The extraterrestrials’ information about the men of the Earth was not just limited to their movement — there existed a certain system of records (videotapes?) of all earthly sinful life: “And do not think in your spirit nor say in your heart that ye do not know and that ye do not see that every sin is every day recorded in heaven in the presence of the Most High. <...> And, although ye sinners say: «All our sins shall not be searched out and be written down,» nevertheless they shall write down all your sins every day. And now I show unto you that light and darkness, day and night, see all your sins.” Book of Enoch, 19, 61; 19, 141-142.

Ancient Egyptians also thought about God in such a way: “He has eyes and ears on all His paths for those whom He loves.”[30]

And thousands of years later , Prophet Jeremiah testified it too: "For My eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from My face, nor is their iniquity concealed from My eyes. <...> I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give to each man according to his ways, according to the results of his deeds.” Book of Jeremiah, 16, 17; 17, 10.

Does it mean that “My eyes are on all their ways” are just watching videocameras? As to “the heart” and “the mind”, one starts thinking about such means known in our time, as apparatus for night vision for descendents, and X-ray used in medicine (“search the heart, I test the mind”), identification by fingerprints and DNA, scanning of one’s brain, and detector’s test (“to give to each man according to his ways, according to the results of his deeds”).

We can find similarity in Sumerian clay tables: “He (god Enlil) possessed the «bond heaven-earth», and from his «awesome city Nippur» he could «raise the beams that search the heart of all the lands» (examining with X-ray) «eyes that could scan all the lands» (spying videocameras)”. [31]

And Goddess Inanna is called “the Queen who eyes the highland…”[32]

By Muslim legends, angels Harut and Marut descended the Earth and began to sin there. “However, as one might anticipate, the all-knowing God was perfectly aware of their actions. Furthermore, he arranged it so that the angels in heaven would witness the reprehensive actions of their brothers on Earth.”  [33]

And here is a report of the ancient Greek writer Lukian Samosata  (II A.D.): “In the king’s palas… not a very deep well covered with a big mirror. If you go down to this well, you can hear all that is said on our Earth (radio). If you look in that mirror, you will see all the cities and peoples, as though they are in front of you (television)”.[34] Is it a fancy of an ancient writer or the things he really saw?..

Researchers contemporary to us view the surface of other planets while remaining on the Earth, with the help of vidiocameras with remote control; and our kids are able to amuse themselves with toy cars and helicopters, also having remote control. But even more sophisticated possibilities are coming into being: “Professor Isao Simoyama at the University of Tokyo makes cyborgs…out of cockroaches. Their wings are removed, and in place of feelers electrodes are installed. A tiny backpack is put on the cockroach’s back in which they are charged. This is a microprocessor by which one can define the location of the cockroach, and, the most interesting thing, to give him commands like to a toy with remote control. Whatever you wish — forward, backward, and to the right. Such animal lives after the operation up to three months! If a vidiocamera is installed in the cockroach, it will become clear how convenient this thing is”. (N. Smutny, ‘Electroworld”).[35]

And, as always, a spy on the ground gives precedence in his effectiveness to a spy from the air: “The scientists at the Institute of Berkley have something more interesting than cockroaches. They made an artificial fly. So far, there is only a single sample of this fly, and it costs 2.5 million dollars. <...> in the fly’s head, there is a tiny videocamera. The fly charged by the sun batteries. If flies noiselessly and transmits images to its master.” (The same source).

INTERNET. A battle net was in ancient time a kind of arms, — but is it this net that is mentioned in a panegyric to tsar Shulgiwho ruled in the Sumerian city of Ur (2093-2046 b.c.): “A great net covering Heaven and Earth, uniting all the Lands!”[36] Such global net, “covering Heaven and Earth” looks like the internet.

Anonalogous thing is said about the Sumerian Gods: Utu-Shamash — “Hit net was the Earth, his trap the distant skies”[37]

Enlil — “by his order Eannatum (tsar of the city Ladash) «threw his great upon Umma… (another Sumerian city).”»[38]

In our days, there is a popular webside in Russian Internet: http.// But here we came across the same word in the Bible, in the words of God: "I will spread My net over him, and he will be caught in My snare. Then I will bring him to Babylon and enter into judgment with him there regarding the unfaithful act which he has committed against Me.” The book of Ezekiel, 17, 20.

Can, indeed, the God like a common soldier, throw upon a man a battle net — a snare? Maybe, for all that, — the  Inter-net?

THE BOOK. Where was the first library formed? “Besides, in heaven there are «the tables of fates» and «The books of god’s orders and lives of men» the one who possesses them is the supreme Lord of Heaven and Earth”.[39]

And who was the first writer? Sumerian God-Extraterrestrial Enki says the following about it: “The writer of the Book of the Universe is I, the Wisest Mind of all lands — I…” [40]

Was it, indeed, the Book he gave to Adam what is reported in the Kabbala: “In the Zohar 1 (55b), Hadraniel speaks to Adam about Adam’s possession of the Book of the Angel Raziel, which was said to contain secret information that not even the angels knew.” [41]

Also secret were other ancient books:

“But thou, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end (till our epoch of scientific and technical revolution); many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” Book of Daniel, 12, 4;

 “And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the trone a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals, and I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a ioud voice, «Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?»

And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.” Revelation, 5, 1-3.

It is curious how the American journalist Michael Drosnin, one of those who have deciphered the Bible code, comments on these views in the Book of Daniel and Revelation of Ioann: “Some intelligence that could see the future (Chief Extraterrestrial) encoded the Bible. It knew when the danger (the nuclear Holocaust) would exist. It designed the code to be found by a technology that would not exist until then. Could the Bible code be the "sealed book"? It was sealed, with a kind of time-lock, that could not be opened until computer was invented. Had we really opened the "sealed book"?” [42] 

Same books “not of this world” are also mentioned in the apocryphal book “Vision of Isaiah”: “Another angel of those standing who was more glorious than all other angels, and than the one who was guiding me, showed the books, and, having opened them, gave them to me. And I saw the writings looked like not of this world. And I read them. And the deeds of Jerusalem were written down there. And as though with different eyes, I saw their deed’s which I had not known before. And I truly understood that nothing would be concealed on the seventh heaven (on the planet of extraterrestrials) of what was going on in the world”.[43]

And now let us proceed from prophet Isaiah to prophet Ezekiel: it turns out the God himself handed him the scroll. And not only handed it to him, but, just imagine it! — also made him eat up the book: "«Now you, son of man, listen to what I am speaking to you; do not be rebellious like that rebellious house (i.e. Israel). Open your mouth and eat what I am giving you.»

Then I looked, and behold, a hand was extended to me; and lo, a scroll was in it. When He spread it (the scroll)) out before me, it was written on the front and back, and written on it were lamentations, mourning and woe. Then He said to me, «Son of man, eat what you find; eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.»

So I opened my mouth, and He fed me this scroll. He said to me, «Son of man, feed your stomach and fill your body with this scroll which I am giving you.»

Then I ate it, and it was sweet as honey in my mouth. Then He said to me, «Son of man, go to the house of Israel and speak with My words to them.» Book of Ezekiel, 2, 8-10; 3, 1-4.

This information can be interpreted in two ways. Either the God told Ezekiel to eat up the scroll in the figurative meaning, symbolically, in other words, so that he learned its contents better. Or, on the God’s immediate order, the God-obedient Ezekiel ate up the scroll, indeed, to better memorize due to this unforgettable execution, what was written by God.

One must add that a scroll is “a narrow band of papyrus, parchment, or paper rolled up; one of the most ancient forms of a book”.[44] At the time of Ezekiel there was not yet either parchment, or paper, — and they wrote on papyrus made from the plant of the same name of hedgehoggrass tribe.  And Aztecs in America, not discovered yet at that time, wrote on cotton cloth, on skins prepared like parchment, on a composition of silk and gum, and on a species of paper, soft and beatiful, made from the aloe.” [45] In Peru a paper was made of plantain leaves, and books were common in the earlier ages.” [46]

If we assume that God was an extraterrestrial, His scroll could have been made from some extraterrestrial material unfamiliar to us, more edible than leaves. And in our days they learned to make partitions of spaceships edible, in case of unforeseen delay of the flight, so the scroll of the God-extraterrestrial might have been quite edible, as well. Then let us imagine — Ezekiel could cut the scroll, like sausage, and eat it; and extraordinariness of this procedure contributed to memorizing the scroll read before it.

As said by the founder of Islam Muhammad, Behold, two guardian angels appointed to learn his doings, learn and noted them, one sitting on the right (writing down just behaviour [47]) and one on the left (writing down sinful behaviour). Not a word does he utter but there is a sentinel (the third angel who is writing down made aloud ) by him, ready to note it.” Koran, Surah 50 - Qaf, 17-18. Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private counsels? Indeed We do, and Our messengers are by them, to record.” Koran, Surah 43 - Ornaments Of Gold, 80.

However, according to the words of the same Muhammad, the information is gathered not only by sinners:  Day, verily the record of the Righteous is preserved in 'Illiyin. And what will explain to thee what 'Illiyun is? There is a Register fully inscribed, To which bear witness those Nearest to Allah.” Koran, Surah 83 - Defrauding, 18-21.

Analogous are the notions of theosophers: “The Lipika are esoteric (occult, theosophical) angels of a very high order that inscribe all world events and personal experiences in the cosmic memory, reffered to as the «akashic records» by occultists.”  [48]

And let us go back to Enoch again — in the end, the Chief Extraterrestrial will be acquainted with everything recorded in the books of the living: “In those days I saw the Head of Days when He seated himself upon the throne of His glory, and the books of the living were opened before Him… <...> And in those days the prayer of the righteous shall reach unto the Lord, and for you the days of your judgement shall come. And all the words of your unrighteousness shall be read out before the Great Holy One, and your faces shall be covered with shame, and He will reject every work which is grounded on unrighteousness.” Book of Enoch, 8, 17; 19, 51-52.

“In the house of ashes n which I entered there lives a priest and a servant, a Magi and a possessed one, there live the priest of the great gods, lives Etana (who flew from Earth to Heaven on eagl back), lives Sumukan, lives Ereshkigal, tsaritsa of the Earth; belet-tseri (the girl-scribe of the Earth) was holding on her knees the Table of Fates, and was reading it to her, and she looked up, end saw me:

Death has already taken that man!”[49]

And this is from a hymn to the Egyptian Goddess: “We glorify your majesty, we praise before your face, and we raise your glory higher than of all the gods and goddesses, for you are the mistress of songs, the princess of the library, the great Seshat (goddess of knowledge, writing, counting, and chronology[50]) at the head of the chamber of scribes”.[51]

 The Jews were considered to be the first men of the book, but as we see, more ancient people honored the book, as well. And the Egyptians even called one of their goddesses “the princess of the library”.

In the context of the above-said cult of book in remote antiquity, the advice of an Egyptian father to his son is accepted as self-evident:

“—Turn your heart to book. I watched one free of work. Indeed, there is nothing higher than books. Swim in books, like in water, — you will find instruction in them: «If a scribe is with the court, he will not be a pauper in it, but will be fed up». I do not know another office which could give cause to such saying, so, I suggest that you love books like your own mother, and describe to you all the advantages (of those who know them). They are higher than any other office: there is nothing on the Earth higher than they”.[52]

There remains only to add that in this care by the word book they evidently mean a wider notion —education.



WHAT IS “ME”? In all of the Sumerian written inheritance we come across a mysterious concept ME, at which scholars have been puzzled thus far: “Similarly, the Sumerian theologians arrived at what was for them a satisfying metaphysical inference to explain what keeps the cosmic entities and cultural phenomena, once created, operating continuously and harmoniously, without conflict and confusion. This is the concept designated by the Sumerian word me, whose exact meaning is still uncurtain.” [53]

Classic of sumerology Samuel Kramer wrote this half a century ago, and in our days the concept ME provokes computer associations in one of his followers, Zecharia Sitchin: Though they are constantly referred to, the nature of the ME is not clear, and scholars translate the term as «divine commandments», «divine powers», or even «mythic virtues». The ME, however, are described as physical objects that one could pick up and carry, or even put on, and which contained secret knowledge or data. Perhaps they were something like our present-day computrer chips, on which data, programs, and operational orders have been minutely recorded. On them the essentials of civilization were encoded”.[54]

“The scolars refer to the me as «divine power objects». Literally the term stems from the concept of «swimming in celestrial waters»[55]

Does it mean “in celestrial waters” of superinformation? That is, with direct access to the God-Superinternet (to the Christian God-Holy Spirit):

“Sumer, Great Mountain, Unity of Heaven and Earth, wrapped by the true light! The land carrying ME from sunrise to sunset! Your ME — high ME are unattainable.”[56]

As to me, after analyzing up to a hundred mentionings of ME in Sumerian sources, I began to assume they were  extracts of information which gave to those who possessed them knowledge and power. In other words, ME is something like a many-volumed encyclopedia of computer programs on CD-s.

After the Deluge ME were used for regeneration of the Earth civilization: "This brought the deliberations to the main item on the agenda: Enlil,s complaint that Enki was withholding from the other gods the «Divine Formulas» - the knowledge of more than one hundred aspects of civilization - confining advancement to Eridu and its people only. (It is an archaeologically confirmed fact that Eridu was Sumer’s oldest post-Diluvial city, the fountainhead of Sumerian civilization.) It was then decided that Enki must share the Divine Formulas with the other gods, so that they, too, could establish and reestablish their urban centers: civilization was to be granted to the whole of Sumer.” [57] 

And here is retelling of the hymn “Enki and Organization of the World”: “It is said here that at the beginning of the World (at the extraterrestrials’ appropriation of the Earth) God Anu gave the ME to Enlil, the latter gave them to Enki, and Enki decided to distribute them all over the world. The God of wisdom (Enki) gets in a boat, and starts his long voyage to different cities and countries.

He visits the main cities of Sumer — Nippur and Ur, defeats hostile Elam, gives foundations of life to island Dilmun (our present-day Bahrein), loads with benefits Magan and Meluhah (what regions these are is not exactly known thus far). Having visited foreign countries, Enki fecundates, the rivers Tigris and Euphrates (puts the offspring of eatable kinds of fish in), and gives ME to the gods, his subordinates. From his hands, they obtain power over construction, weaving, pastorship, agriculture, fishing (branch computer programs). Having fulfilled his mission, Euki is crowned to reign, getting the attributes of the Chief of Arms and the Priest, at the same time.

When all the ME have been distributed, Goddess Inanna unexpectedly appears who accuses Euki of not having giving her her share. Euki is surprised, for he very well knows that Inanna has long been in possession of a certain number of ME. Nevertheless, he finds what she can be entrusted with — human emotions and musical instruments which cause these emotions (computer programs of music and emotions).”[58]

There exist another version of this story about Inanna: Gracious with drink, Enki presented to her ME for «Lordship..., Godship, the Exalted and Enduring Tiara, the Trone of Kingship», and «bright Inanna took them». As Inanna worked her charmes on her aging host. Enki made to her a second presentation of «the Exalted Scepter and Staff, the Exalted Shrine, Righteous Rulership»; and «bright Inanna took them», too. As the feasting and drinking went on, Enki parted with seven major MEs, embracing the functions and attributes of a Divine Lady, her temple and rituals, its priests, eunuchs, and prostitutes; warfare and weapons; justice and courts; music and arts; masonry; woodworking and metal working; leatherwork and weaving; scribeship and mathematics; and so on.” [59]

Developing the concept of ME as an encyclopedia of computer programs, one can assume the following.

The extraterrestrials’ civilization of many million years had enough time to accumulate the best programs in all branches of knowledge, and for work of all kinds of technology. They may have had incomparably more capacious accumulators of memory, that our present-day hard-drives and compact disks.

It is confirmed by the following text:

“— Bright Inanna, the daughter of mine, I will present with: Valour, Might, Wrongness, Justness, Cities plunder, Lamentations arrangement, The Joy of Heart…”[60]  “Inanna is only too happy to accept the gifts offered her by the drunken Enki. She takes them and loads them on her Boat of Heaven, and makes off for Erech with her precious cargo. <...> Finally Inanna and her boat arrive safe and sound at Ereck, where, amidst jubilation and feasting on the part of the delighted inhabitants, she unloads the divine laws one at a time.” [61]

Pay attention to two MEs with the opposite meaning, enumerated one after the other: “Wrongness” and “Justness” — don’t they look like computer programs?

And it is unlikely they speak about books, but most likely they mean computers and CD-s to them by the words: “load them on her Boat of Heaven”; “unloads the divine laws one at a time”.

The extraterrestrials’ super-weapon was also computerized, which, for example, can be seen in the poem about the same Goddess Inanna, entitled “Nin-me-sharra” (it means: “The Lady of Many ME”): “The Lady of all Me, the day emitting radiance, the righteous wife wrapped with emanation, the beloved of the Heaven and Earth, Iyerodula (priestess) of Anu (Supreme God), mistress of all great decorations, the beloved of the crown genuine, appointed to reign over kingdom, constantly holding in your hand seven ME, oh my lady! You are watcher of great ME! You lifted ME on your arm! You collected ME, you saved ME on your bosom! Like a dragon, you sent death to hostile land! <…>When men present themselves before you, in fear and tremble before you radiance, — they get from you the worthy ME, the awful ME! They start lamentation before you, to the house of great lamentations (temple) along the street they go to you”.[62]

One opinion of Kramer is assumed as anticipation of a genius of the “computer explanation” of ME: “In general it would seem to denote a set of rules and regulations assigned to each cosmic entity and cultural phenomenon for the purpose of keeping it operating forever in accordance with the plans laid down by the deities creating it.” [63]

I think if Kramer were living now, he would edit, paraphrase this in approximately the following way:

“In general it would seem to denote a set of rules and regulations computer programs assigned to each cosmic entity and cultural phenomenon for the purpose of keeping it operating forever in accordance with the plans being computerized lay down by the deities programmer creating it”.

End in the “Book of Enoch” some information “sources” are mentioned which Enoch just could not describe of vocabulary: “And in that place I saw the fountain of righteousness which was inexhaustible; and around it were many fountains of wisdom, and all the thirsty drank of them, and were filled with wisdom, and their dwellings were with the righteous and holy and elect.” Book of Enoch, 8, 19.

Most likely it was just the system of computers: “and around it were many fountains of wisdom”. At the same time, there was only one base computer (“the fountain of righteousness”), and many individual (“fountains of wisdom”). And anyone who wanted to joined the system: “all the thirsty drank of them”.

But an attempt to get the terrestrials join the sources of wisdom, alas, failed: Wisdom found no place where she might dwell; then a dwelling-place was assigned her in the heavens. Wisdom went forth to make her dwelling among the children of men, and found no dwelling-place; wisdom returned to her place, and took her seat among the angels.” Book of Enoch, 7, 39-40.

Evidently, the terrestrials at that time had not ripened for computerization.



The Fallen Angels. One quotation from the Torah is so important for the subject of this book, that I will cite it again: “Now it came about, when men began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose. Then the Lord said, «My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; nevertheless his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.»

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.” Genesis, 6, 1-4. 1   

Christian theologists are bewildered over interpreting the cited extract: “some details of this part have furnished food for endless disputes…”[64]; “the legends about the nephilin have not been preserved”.[65]

But it is clear from the Talmud that these “sons of God” were angels: “When in the era preceeding the Delude the men began to serve idols, instead of the Living God, two angels, Shemhazai and Azael, presented themselves before the face of the Eternal. Seeing the Lord’s sorrow, they said:

— Lord of the Universe! When You are creating this world, didn’t we warn You, sating: is man worthy of You remembering him, and the son of the ashes worthy of You visiting him with grace?

— What then shall we do with the world now? —Said the Lord.

   We will find another designation for it.

— And I am aware, replied the Lord, that undoubtedly, if you, angels, lived on the Earth instead of men, you would be smitten with temptation even easier, and sooner, that it happened to mankind.

— Try us, Lord, — they said, — let us settle on the Earth, and You will see how we will glorify Your holy name.

The Sons of the God descended to the Earth, and began to come in to the daughters of men, seduced by their earthy beauty. <...>

Afterwards Shemhazai repented of his earthy sin and voluntarily punished himself, suspending himself in space between heaven and Earth where he is still hanging upside down in sorrow of repentance.

But Azael did not repent and has been keeping on his sinful life the present time.” (“Midrash Abkir”).[66]

Again this term — “the daughters of men”. And we have already read in the Torah that the “the sons of God” married the daughters of men; and in this fragment from the Talmud we read about “two angels”, “the sons of God” who “descended to the Earth”. In other words, — descended to the Earth extraterrestrials?

The more so that, according to Sitchin, the name Shemhazai (= shem + hazai) is translated as Shem’s — Watcher.

And here is how the plot with these two angels develops further. The more “conscientious” of them Shemhazai “rependet” — and left the Earth. But where to? He just returned to his satellite (“suspending himself in space between heaven and Earth”), in the state of weightlessness (“is still hanging upside down”). Just half a century ago such treatment would have seemed a pure fiction, but not in our era — the era of satellites and flights to other planets.

Still more details of the collision of these two angels we find in the “Book of Enoch”, written a few thousand years before the Torah: “In the generation of my father Jared some of the angels of heaven transgressed the word of the Lord.” Book of Enoch, 20, 13.

Two of the angels were the principal instigators: “The name of the first Jeqon: that is, the one who led astray all the sons of God, and brought them down to the earth, and led them astray through the daughters of men. And the second was named Asbeel: he imparted to the holy sons of God evil counsel, and led them astray so that they defiled their bodies with the daughters of men.” Book of Enoch, 11, 39-40.

Jegon is apparently the same Shemhazai, and Asbeel must be Azael.

Giving a brief retelling of this chapter from the “Book of Enoch” in the Torah, Moses considered important  the moral of it that the God had punished the men who had fallen in sin with the Deluge, i. e. for him it was important to stress sinfulness of man, and magnificence of the God and angels. But according to Enoch, the angels themselves were the first to fall into sin, — and so Moses edited this part: instead of the angels he wrote the sons of the great (or the sons of the God). In fact, according to Enoch, the God punished with the Deluge not so much the men, as the angels who had transgressed His commandments.

It is curious that the Encyclopedia “Angels, A to Z” consistent on the whole with religious spirit, nevertheless, uses such treatment, too: “It would be difficult to determine who these "sons" might be if they were not angelic beings. Having lost the original context for interpreting Gen. 6, 2-4, some contemporary writers have hypothesized that they were the alien occupants of flying saucers who performed genetic experiments on our distant ancestors, producing what became human beings.”  [67]

“The angelic origin” of the Devil’s servants is also confirmed by Ioann Divine: “And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon. The dragon and his angels waged war, and they were not strong enough, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.” Revelation, 12, 7-9. 7   

It is well-known that everything good is associated with light, and all bad things — with darkness: “Satan reigns in the world of sin, and «spirits of spite» represent «the power of darkness».[68]

But here is a puzzle: Lucifer (lat. lux-lucislight + ferre — «bear», literally «bearer of light») — in Christian mythology: the Satan, lord of hell”.[69] How is that: “bearer of light” represents “power of darkness”? It is absurd!

Thus, this synonym “Lucifer” confirms once more that the Satan was an angel-extraterrestrial with the light from a projector on his helmet.



Divine Eugenics. Evidently, to preserve the purity of the “extraterrestrial race”, there existed a ban on mixed marriages of the angels with the uncivilized earthy women, — something like eugenics (from Greek εΰ — well and γένοζ        kind): “The starting point of eugenics is dividing people into superior and inferior races. By this «classification», the eugenists, for instance, refer the black and yellow races to the category of inferior races; they also consider the working people to have extremely low value, as compared to the men of property, and recommend «selection of producers» in human society by indications of class and race, and also a number of «means»: sterilization of «biologically deficient ones», forbidding «racially alien marriages», and so on”.[70]

In general terms, the angels who had starved from lack of women and family life flew into a criminal passion: “And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: «Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children.» Book of Enoch, 2, 1-2.

They would not have to do it solo, and so organized something likes a universal plot: “And Semjaza, who was their leader, said unto them: «I fear ye will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.»

And they all answered him and said: «Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.»

Then sware they all together and bound themselves 6 by mutual imprecations upon it. And they were in all two hundred…” Book of Enoch, 2, 3-5.

In the Torah everything is depicted as though sinful intentions were born on the Earth, — in order to justify the Deluge later on. But the matter is, according to Enoch, that those intentions were born in the Heaven, on an orbital station: “…Who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it.” Book of Enoch, 2, 6.

Mount Hermon still exists in our time, being a branch of the Antilivan ridge; in Jewish its name means: mount of banishment[71] — isn’t it in memory of the angels, who fell into sin on the Earth, and were banished from the orbital station?

But the Torah intentionally exaggerates the sinfulness of mankind: “Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. The Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.” Genesis, 6, 5-6.  

It does it in order to justify the God’s cruel decision following that:

 “The Lord said, «I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, from man to animals to creeping things and to birds of the sky; for I am sorry that I have made them.»" Genesis, 6, 7. 7   

Actually, although the angels did break the ban on mixed marriages, but, on the whole, their behavior does not seem so depraved — anyway, they did not just tend to sex, but to normal family life, as well (“… let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children”). At the same time, the angels were not even polygamous, but monogamous — do you remember: “And they took to themselves wives, and chose himself one …” Book of Enoch, 2, 8.

And further, from the words of God, it becomes clear that the angels did not have the right to marry the daughters of men for more reason, than just considerations of eugenics: «Wherefore have ye left the high, holy, and eternal heaven, and lain with women, and defiled yourselves with the daughters of men and taken to yourselves wives, and done like the children of earth, and begotten giants as your sons? And though ye were holy, spiritual, living the eternal life, you have defiled yourselves with the blood of women, and have begotten children with the blood of flesh, and, as the children of men, have lusted after flesh and blood as those also do who die and perish. <...> But you were formerly spiritual, living the eternal life, and immortal for all generations of the world. And therefore I have not appointed wives for you; for as for the spiritual ones of the heaven, in heaven is their dwelling.» Book of Enoch, 3, 43-44, 46-47.

Pay attention to aversion with which the God speaks about the method itself by which the children of men are begotten (“you have defiled yourselves with the blood of women, and have begotten children with the blood of flesh, and, as the children of men, have lusted after flesh and blood as those also do who die and perish”).  Judging by the God’s reproaches, the angels He was speaking to had not been born by women, but were literally created by God in a test tube; it has become accessible to science in our days, too, hasn’t it?

Evidently, the angels sent to the Earth by God were a kind of a monastic sect with a vow of celibacy (“But you were formerly spiritual, living the eternal life and immortal for all generation of the world. And therefore I have not appointed wives for you; for us for the spiritual ones of the heaven, in heaven is their devilling”). The more so that Enoch, too, saw himself the deeds of the angels: “Here mine eyes saw their dwellings with His righteous angels, and their resting-places with the holy. And they petitioned and interceded and prayed for the children of men, and righteousness flowed before them as water, and mercy like dew upon the earth: thus it is amongst them for ever and ever.” Book of Enoch, 6, 11.

The race superiority of the extraterrestrials is emphasized by the words of God himself: «And go, say to the watchers of heaven, who have sent thee to intercede for them: you should intercede for men, and not men for you…» Book of Enoch, 3, 42.

That is, though God distinguished Enoch among other men, having taken him to heaven, nevertheless, He severely cuts him short, saying that only the angels can intercede for men before God (“you should intercede for men, and not men for you”).



imagined himself a god. And here is another incident, when the God does not just cut a man short, but already punishes him for having imagined himself a god: "…Say to the leader of Tyre: thus says the Lord God, because your heart is lifted up and you have said, «I am a god, sit in the seat of gods in the heart of the seas»; yet you are a man and not God, lthough you make your heart like the heart of God… herefore, behold, I will bring strangers upon you, the most ruthless of the nations. And they will draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom and defile your splendor. They will bring you down to the pit, And you will die the death of those who are slain In the heart of the seas. <...>       

"You were the anointed cherub who covers, and I placed you there. You were on the holy mountain of God; you walked in the midst of the stones of fire. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created until unrighteousness was found in you. By the abundance of your trade you were internally filled with violence, and you sinned; therefore I have cast you as profane from the mountain of God. And I have destroyed you, o covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.” Book of Ezekiel, 28, 2; 28, 7-8; 28, 14-16.  

This “leader of Tyre”, i. e. King of Tyre resembles somewhat the great prophet Moses himself: in the same way the God took care of him since he was born (“you were blameless in your ways from the day you were created”), in the same way honored “leader of Tyre” with permission to visit Him on the holy mountain of God (“you were on the holy mountain of God; you walked in the midst of the stones of fire”), in the same gave him a certain task (“you were the anointed cherub who cavers, and I placed you there”). But then the God brings enemies upon him, and punishes him with death, for “you are a man not God, though you make your heart like the heart of God”.

Besides, the caste barrier existed not only between the God and men, but also on a higher level — between the God and angels: “And it came to pass when he stood before the Lord of Spirits, Michael said thus to Raphael: «I will not take their (fallen angels’) part under the eye of the Lord; for the Lord of Spirits has been angry with them because they do as if they were the Lord.” Book of Enoch, 11, 34.



The Heavens “top secret. Besides the vow of celibacy, the angels broke one more ban of the God, — call to mind: “The Lord God commanded the man, saying, «From any tree of the garden you may eat freely; but from the tree of knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die.» <...>

Then the Lord God said, «Behold, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might stretch out his hand, and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever"  Genesis, 2, 16-17; 3, 22.

Having provided themselves with families on the Earth, i. e. having become to a certain degree terrestrials themselves, the angels began to educate the original terrestrials, as well: “And Azazel taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and breastplates, and made known to them the metals of the Earth and the art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly stones, and all colouring tinctures. <...> Semjaza taught enchantments, and root-cuttings, 'Armaros the resolving of enchantments, Baraqijal taught astrology, Kokabel the constellations, Ezeqeel the knowledge of the clouds, Araqiel the signs of the earth, Shamsiel the signs of the sun, and Sariel the course of the moon. <... > And the third was named Gadreel: he it is who showed the children of men all the blows of death, and he led astray Eve, and showed the weapons of death to the sons of men the shield and the coat of mail, and the sword for battle, and all the weapons of death to the children of men. And from his hand they have proceeded against those who dwell on the earth from that day and for evermore. And the fourth was named Penemue: he taught the children of men the bitter and the sweet, and he taught them all the secrets of their wisdom. And he instructed mankind in writing with ink and paper, and thereby many sinned from eternity to eternity and until this day. For men were not created for such a purpose, to give confirmation to their good faith with pen and ink.” Book of Enoch, 2, 14; 2, 16; 11, 41-45.

(I must confess I also sinned a lot in my life “with ink”, until ten years ago I started to sin with computer).

Dionysius Areopagitus, the first Christian bishop of Atheons (I A.D.), pointing out in his treatis “About Heavenly Hierarchy” that the God and angels often had “geodetic and architectural instruments”, marcs out “their skills in laying foundations, building and completing the work”.[72] And he refers to the following parts of the Bible: “Thus He showed me, and behold, the Lord was standing by a vertical wall with a plumb line in His hand.” Book of Amos, 7, 7.   “…And behold, there was a man whose appearance was like the appearance of bronze (in the extraterrestrial spacesuit), with a line of flax (measuring cord)  and a measuring rod in his hand…” Book of Ezekiel, 40, 3.The one who spoke with me (the angel) had a gold measuring rod to measure the city, and its gates and its wall.” Revelation, 21, 15.

We, the former citizens of a totalitarian country, the Soviet Union, have experienced the burden of total secrecy, — and here, when reading the “Book of Enoch”, we learn that a similar burden turns out to exist still in antediluvian times: “And these-they have no place of repentance for ever, because they have shown them what was hidden, and they are the damned...” Book of Enoch, 11, 11.

For, in God’s opinion, heavenly knowledge was categorically contraindicated to the terrestrials: “And now as to the watchers who have sent thee to intercede for them, who had been aforetime in heaven, (say it to them): «You have been in heaven, but all the mysteries had not yet been revealed to you, and you knew worthless ones, and these in the hardness of your hearts you have made known to the women, and through these mysteries women and men work much evil on earth.»Book of Enoch, 3, 54.

And here is another fact of violation of the Heaven’s “top secret”: “And he (Cainan, great-grandson of Hoah do not confuse with Cain, son  of Adama) found a writing which former generations (antediluvian) had carved on the rock, and he read what was thereon, and he transcribed it and sinned owing to it; for it contained the teaching of the Watchers (extraterrestrials) in accordance with which they used to observe the omens of the sun and moon and stars in all the signs of heaven. And he wrote it down and said nothing regarding it; for he was afraid to speak to Noah about it lest he should be angry with him on account of it.” [73]

And so did we in the Soviet Union — I mean the majority who did not have a special access to secrecy — if by chance we came across any such secretness (and this often happened due to Russian carelessness), we pretended ignorance of it to avoid trouble (“for he was afraid to speak to Noah about it lest he should be angry with him on account of it”).



Giants.  It seemed as though no harm life, education… But a serious problem was created by the accelerated children-mongrels who were incorrigible: “And they became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three thousand ells, who consumed all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against them and devoured mankind. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and fish, and to devour one another's flesh, and drink the blood.” Book of Enoch, 2, 9-12.

Let as leave to the conscience of the editors of the “Book of Enoch” the words about the height of the giants — “three thousand ells”. Nevertheless, it appears that the children-mongrels, descendants of the angels and “daughters of men”, having inherited the best physical qualities of the extraterrestrials and the terrestrials, accelerated, indeed, into giants. Even the present-day terrestrials sometimes reach the height of more then two meters — we usually see such giants, females included, in basketball teams; so it is quite possible that the halfextraterrestrials-halfterrestrials could accelerate, in a greater degree, maybe, up to three meters.

Though the first information, related to the antediluvian times of Enoch-Noach, mentions of them refer to afterdiluvian times, too; for instance, they made such an impression on the spies sent by Moses to the Promised Land that they “they gave out to the sons of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied on, saying, «The land through which we have gone, in spying it out, is a land that devours its inhabitants; and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great size. "There also we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak are part of the Nephilim); and we became like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.»" Numbers, 13, 32-33.    

Pay attention: at first they speak in this phrase about “men of great size”; then separately, about “the Nephilim”, in whose sight they were like “grasshoppers”. So, the Nephilin here is by no means a synonym of men of great size, but a new notion.

According to Josephus, “They told them also, that they found at Hebron the posterity of the giants.” [74] And more details: “For many angels of God accompanied with women, and begat sons that proved unjust, and despisers of all that was good, on account of the confidence they had in their own strength; for the tradition is, that these men did what resembled the acts of those whom the Grecians call giants.” [75]

The Bible draws personal attention to two giants: Og and Goliath.

Og is known as one of the tsars defeated by Moses, — and history even preserved the dimensions of his bedstead: “For only Og king of Bashan was left of the remnant of the Rephaim (Nephilims). Behold, his bedstead was an iron bedstead; it is in Rabbah of the sons of Ammon. Its length was nine cubits and its width four cubits by ordinary cubit (about 4 х 2 meters [76]).” Deuteronomy, 3, 11.

At the same time, as to Og’s origin, it is known that he was a grandson of an angel-extraterrestrial: “… giants Og and Sihon were the sons of Ahia, the son of Shemhazai, a fallen angel (Nidda, 61a)”.[77]

And Goliath is famous for being killed in a single combat, with a stone let out of the sling of the future king David: “And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Go-li-ath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span (more than three meters).” 1-st book of Samuel, 17, 4.

It is generally known in biology that hybrids formed by element may turn out to be unpredicted — able “monsters”, — here is, for instance, a hybrid of a dog and wolf: “If a he-dog is big and strong enough to master a she-wolf, as the result of this union there appear some creatures combining the genes of both wolf and dog. They look like ordinary dogs, save are very big. But the wolf-dogs are as cruel, as wolves… The wolf-dogs are not afraid of men, and that is why they are very dangerous. It is nothing to them to gnaw a little girl going home from school in the evening, and in the morning to go to the market to beg traders for a bone” (Oshchepkova A., “Wolf’s life”)[78] Apparently, the mongrels of the angels and “daughters of men” were, like wolf-dog monsters, also humanoid-monsters.

As to Azazel who taught men smithcraft and gunsmith craft: “to make swords, and knives, and shields, and armours” — it looks as though it was he who later on became the prototype of the Greek god-black — smith Hephaistos. It is interesting that “his assistance were the Cyclopes” [79] — aren’t they the same Nephilim of the time of Azazel? The Greek word cyclope (χύχ­λωφ) means roundeyed [80] — isn’t it a reminder of the face window in the space helmets which the mongrel-children inherited from their fathers the extraterrestrials: “…The Near East in the fourth millenium b.c. was literally swamped with water-like figurines that depicted in a stylized manner the upper part of  the deities, exaggerating their most prominent feature: a conical helmet with elliptical visors or goggles. A hoard of such figurines was found at Tell Brak, a prehistoric site on the Khabur River, river on whose banks Ezekiel saw the divine chariot millennia later.” [81]

Such a “Cyclops” was, apparently, Archangel Djibril: “In Islamic legend Djibril has at least six hundred wings (the propeller blades of helicopter), and the sun (the reflected light from a window of a helmet) is placed between his two eyes.”  [82]

Sumerian God Euki was considered one-eyed, as well: “Euki whose only eye sees through the depth of the mountains! <...> Your eye, like the teed hal-hal, you stretch forth inside the Country!” (“Euki and the Arrangement of the World”)[83] Besides, wasn’t this “only eye” of Euki just a telescope which he “stretched forth” like “the reed hal-hal”?



The Punishment of Azazel. One of the variant of the etymology of the name of Azazel is “resisting the God”.[84] And so angels Michael, Jibril, Suryan and Uryan hurried to inform the Chief Extraterrestrial against him: “Thou seest what Azazel hath done, who hath taught all unrighteousness on earth and revealed the eternal secrets which were (preserved) in heaven.” Book of Enoch, 2, 24.

In general, the Chief Extraterrestrial reminds us of the present-day executive director who is already tired of hearing the complaints of the visitors: “And I heard the fourth voice fending off the Satans and forbidding them to come before the Lord of Spirits to accuse them who dwell on the earth.” Book of Enoch, 6, 27.

But if the complaints did reach Him, He acted resolutely.

According to the Torah: “Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. The Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. The Lord said, «I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, from man to animals to creeping things and to birds of the sky; for I am sorry that I have made them.» Genesis, 6, 5-7. 5   

By Enoch: “And again the Lord said to Raphael: «Bind Azazel hand and foot, and cast him into the darkness: and make an opening in the desert, which is in Dudael, and cast him therein. And place upon him rough and jagged rocks, and cover him with darkness, and let him abide there for ever, and cover his face that he may not see light. And on the day of the great judgement he shall be cast into the fire. And heal the earth which the angels have corrupted, and proclaim the healing of the earth, that they may heal the plague, and that all the children of men may not perish through all the secret things that the watchers have disclosed and have taught their sons. And the whole earth has been corrupted through the works that were taught by Azazel: to him ascribe all sin.» The Book of Enoch, 2, 35-38.

In ancient time a pit often served as prison (“make  an opening in the desert, which is in Dudael, and cast him therein”); darkness was also an important element of punishment (“cast him into the darkness”; “cover him with darkness, and let him abide there for ever, and cover his face that may not see light”). In Soviet Union , if one was accused of a crime, they often ascribed to him the things he had nothing to do with, — so are here: “To him ascribe all sin”.

If in Enoch’s time angel-extraterrestrial Azazel was imprisoned in the pit in Dudael desert, then a few millenniums later in Moses’ time it was believed that Azazel was a spirit of the desert, and, at the same time, “either the embodiment of Satan or his symbol”.[85] His name began to be connected with the ritual of “the scapegoat”: “Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats, one lot for the Lord and the other lot for the scapegoat. <...> But the goat on which the lot for the scapegoat fell shall be presented alive before the Lord, to make atonement upon it, to send it into the wilderness as the scapegoat.” Leviticus, 16, 8; 16, 10.

And Azezal’s associates were also put into prison in the depths of the Earth: And against the angels whom He had sent upon the earth, He was exceedingly wroth, and He gave commandment to root them out of all their dominion, and He bade us to bind them in the depths of the earth, and 7 behold they are bound in the midst of them, and are kept separate.” [86]

Besides, soon Azezal and 10% of his associates were set free. It happened in such a way: “And the chief of the spirits, Mastema, came and said: «Lord, Creator, let some of them remain before me, and let them harken to my voice, and do all that I shall say unto them; for if some of them are not left to me, I shall not be able to execute the power of my will on the sons of men; for these are for corruption and leading astray before my judgment, for great is the wickedness of the sons of men.»

And He said: «Let the tenth part of them remain before him, and let nine parts descend into the place of condemnation.» <...>

And we (envoys of the Chief Extraterrestrial) did according to all His words: all the malignant evil ones we bound in the place of condemnation and a tenth part of them we left that they might be subject before Satan on the earth.” [87]

Performing this specific function on the Earth, Azezal-Satan periodically reported to the God. For instance, here: “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. The Lord said to Satan, «From where do you come?»

Then Satan answered the Lord and said, «From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it.»

The Lord said to Satan, «Have you considered My servant Job?»Book of  Job, 1, 6-8.

And then the Satan reports about his watching Job…

In general terms, The Chief Extraterrestrial chose in fact the least of two evils: it was dangerous to leave the savage mankind without watch (“for a great is the wickedness of the sons of men”), it was better to leave free part of the extraterrestrials, though rebellious, but still of his own, — to restrain the savage men: “for these are for corruption and leading astray before my judgment (of Azazel-Mastema-Satan)”. By analogous principle, the United States, for example, collaborated, during World War II, with Stalin mafia against the fascists.

Characteristically, it was only the Book of Jubilees that brought to us the information about forgiving 10% of the extraterrestrials-rebels, but from the other ancient books it was excluded — apparently, as a fact not making the God look good.



Saving a witness. The chief Extraterrestrial, like the head of our present-day super state, too, had fantastic possibilities for search. But it turns out that Enoch was his most valuable secret collaborator: “And on account of it God brought the waters of the flood upon all the land of Eden; for there he was set as a sign and that he should testify against all the children of men, that he should recount all the deeds of the generations until the day of condemnation.” [88]

In our days the law-keeping authorities do not grudge their efforts and resources for saving witnesses; it was the same in ancient time: in the conditions of the global catastrophe — the Deluge — the Chief Extraterrestrial took care of the witness’s safety. Firstly, the place of Enoch’s residence was concealed and safeguarded: “And before all that happened, Enoch had been concealed, and none of the men knew where he was concealed, and where he was residing, and what had happened to him. And all his activities during his life of the Earth were with the saints and watchers”.Book of Enoch, 3, 1-2. And then, as Archangel Metatron said: “during the Deluge the God, through his angel Anpiel, brought him (Enoch) in a fiery chariot to a heaven, so he could testify eternally against his sinful contemporaries.”[89]



Enoch’s tablets. What methods were used by the angels on the space station in teaching Enoch? And Enoch said: «Concerning the children of righteousness and concerning the elect of the world, and concerning the plant of uprightness, I will speak these things, yea, I Enoch will declare them unto you, my sons: according to that which appeared to me in the heavenly vision, and which I have known through the word of the holy angels, and have learnt from the heavenly tablets.»Book of Enoch, 19, 6.

Like in our present–day educational institutions, three educational methods were combined here: 1. something like an educational movie: “which appeared to me in the heavenly vision”; 2. lectures: “through the word of the holy angels”; 3. reading: “from the heavenly tablets” — some of these tablets were given him as a present: “And in those days Enoch received books of zeal and wrath, and books of disquiet and expulsion.” Book of Enoch, 6, 9.

The extraterrestrials told Enoch and showed to him a lot on their cosmic station, so he, as a writer, should record this for the future generation of the terrestrials: “And he took up his parable and said — Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, «Saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come.” Book of Enoch, 1, 2.

And then the angels on the cosmic station, apparently the same Michael, Gabriel, Suryan and Uryan, sent Enoch to the Earth with an order: And I Enoch was blessing the Lord of majesty and the King of the ages, and lo! the Watchers called me —Enoch the scribe — and said to me:

«Enoch, thou scribe of righteousness, go, declare to the Watchers of the heaven who have left the high heaven, the holy eternal place, and have defiled themselves with women, and have done as the children of earth do, and have taken unto themselves wives: Ye have wrought great destruction on the earth; and ye shall have no peace nor forgiveness of sin; and inasmuch as they delight themselves in their children…»Book of Enoch, 3, 3-4.

And Enoch’s competence was as though confirmed by God himself: “As He has created and given to man the power of understanding the word of wisdom, so hath He created me also and given me the power of reprimanding the Watchers, the children of heaven.” Book of Enoch, 3, 17.

And when Enoch descended to the Earth to the angels who “have defiled themselves”, he could not help pitying them: “And they besought me to draw up a petition for them that they might find forgiveness, and to read their petition in the presence of the Lord of heaven. For from thenceforward they could not speak with Him nor lift up their eyes to heaven for shame of their sins for which they had been condemned.

Then I wrote out their petition, and the prayer in regard to their spirits and their deeds individually and in regard to their requests that they should have forgiveness and length.”  Book of Enoch, 3, 8-10.

But his petitioning for the guilty angels was not successful:  “And I went off and sat down at the waters of Dan, in the land of Dan, to the south of the west of Hermon: I read their petition till I fell asleep.

And behold a dream came to me, and visions fell down upon me, and I saw visions of chastisement, and a voice came bidding me  to tell it to the sons of heaven, and reprimand them. And when I awaked, I came unto them, and they were all sitting gathered together, weeping in Abelsjail, which is between Lebanon and Seneser, with their faces covered. And I recounted before them all the visions which I had seen in sleep, and I began to speak the words of righteousness, and to reprimand the heavenly Watchers.”  Book of Enoch, 3, 11-14.

Reading the petition “at the waters of Dan” — by the radiophone? —at all did not persuade the God. On the contrary: the God reminded Enoch — through a dream — why he had been sent to the guilty ones: “and visions fell down upon me, and I saw visions of chastisement and a voice came bidding me to tell it to the sons of heaven, and reprimand them”.

Though Enoch speaks here about a dream (“a dream came to me, and visions fell down upon me, and I saw visions of chastisement”), but this must have been a somewhat different state: the gods-extraterrestrials must have been masters of hypnosis and telepathy, and often used them in regards to the terrestrials to control their psyche. And the terrestrials just did not have any knowledge of hypnosis and telepathy at this time; they did not even have these words in their vocabulary that is why they called these notions in their manuscripts either visions, or dreams.

Hypnosis (from Greek hypnos — sleep) — a sleeplike state of men and higher animals induced artificially in which not the entire cerebrum is suppressed, but its separate parts; the so-called watch points keep incitability providing contact of the hypnotized one with stimulants. With approach of the deepest, the so-called paradoxes phase of suppression, when slight stimulants (for example, a word) take more effect that the strong ones (for instance, pain), a high suggestability is observed”; telepathy (from Greek tele — far and pathos — emotion) — a term used to denote transmitting thoughts and emotions at the distance without using organs of physical perception”.[90]

Here is, for example, the description in the apocrypha of the sources of tsar David’s poetic inspiration: “And he set to write the Psalm Book. And he was unaware where the thoughts came from, as though from an angel was what he was writing.

A great lord, by the name of Vior, wanted to speak with the tsar alone, but the tsar ordered to him:

— Come tonight, and tell me what you wanted to say.

Vior came, as the tsar had said, that night, and was saw a youth whispering in the tsar’s ear. And Vior did not present himself before the tsar, and went away from the tsar’s chamber.

And in the morning, when he came, the tsar asked him;

— Why did not you come to tell me your secret? But come again tonight, and tell me.

And again Vior came in the evening, and saw youth bright, brighter than the Sun, speaking in the tsar’s ear. And left again.

And in the morning he came to the tsar. But the tsar said to him in anger:

      Why did not you come as I had told you?

And Vior replied:

      My Lord, Tsar, I came twice, and you were not alone.

And when Vior came to the tsar in the evening, asked him the tsar:

      Is the man whom you saw before here?

And Vior answered him:

      My Lord, Tsar, his face looks like fire.

And the tsar realized that a God’s angel was promoting to him a thought and harmony for composing the Psalm’s verses.” (“The legends about tsar David”).[91]

It turns out from this description that the angels-extraterrestrials was invisible to David hypnotized by him (“Is the man you saw before here?”); but he was well visible to Vior not hypnotized by him (“saw a youth whispering in the tsar ear”). The irradiance emanating from the youth invisible to David (“bright, brighter than the sun”, “his face looks like a fire”) is quite comfortable with other descriptions of the angels in ancient texts.

If one speaks about dreams, — this is the very state in which our present-day scientists sometimes come to solution of scientific problems: “Besides Mendeleyev who saw in sleep his periodic table, the «prophetic» dreams were also seen by Carl Gauss (he had dream about the law of magnetic induction). Niels Bohr (a model of an atom), and Friedrich August Kekule (the cycle formula of bensole)”. (“Question — answer”).[92] One understands that in sleep the scientific intuition of a natural philosopher is liberated; however, we cannot exclude a more fantastic, “divine” version if the gods-extraterrestrials were able to transmit information to the sleeping prophets and tsars, then in the same way they may be able to transmit information to the sleeping natural philosophers as well.

But Enoch’s main mission was to pass the received knowledge, through his son Methuselah, to all other people on the Earth: “And those seven holy ones brought me and placed me on the earth before the door of my house, and said to me: «Declare everything to thy son Methuselah, and show to all thy children that no flesh is righteous in the sight of the Lord, for He is their Creator. One year we will leave thee with thy son, till thou givest thy last commands, that thou mayest teach thy children and record it for them, and testify to all thy children; and in the second year they shall take thee from their midst. Let thy heart be strong, for the good shall announce righteousness to the good; the righteous with the righteous shall rejoice, and shall offer congratulation to one another. But the sinners shall die with the sinners, and the apostate go down with the apostate. And those who practice righteousness shall die on account of the deeds of men, and be taken away on account of the doings of the godless.»

And in those days they ceased to speak to me, and I came to my people, blessing the Lord of the world. And now, my son Methuselah, all these things I am recounting to thee and writing down for thee! and I have revealed to thee everything, and given thee books concerning all these: so preserve, my son Methuselah, the books from thy father's hand, and see that thou deliver them to the generations of the world. I have given Wisdom to thee and to thy children, and thy children that shall be to thee, that they may give it to their children for generations, this wisdom (namely) that passeth their thought. And those who understand it shall not sleep, but shall listen with the ear that they may learn this wisdom, and it shall please those that eat thereof better than good food.” Book of Enoch, 15, 51-64.

Thus, on the Earth, following the directions given him by the angels (“that thou mayest teach thy children and record it for them”), Enoch wrote his “Book of Enoch”: “writing down for thee”; “given thee books”; “so preserve, my son Methuselach, the books from thy father’s hand”.

And he did hope that his book would not be distorted by his descendants: “But when they write down truthfully all my words in their languages, and do not change or miss ought from my words but write them all down truthfully — all that I first testified concerning them. Then, I know another mystery, that books will be given to the righteous and the wise to become a cause of joy and uprightness and much wisdom. And to them shall the books be given, and they shall believe in them and rejoice over them, and then shall all the righteous who have learnt therefrom all the paths of uprightness be recompensed.”  Book of Enoch, 19, 145.

Of course, Enoch did not get a Nobel prize in literature, as a reward for his writing, but on the other hand, he was awarded a higher quality: «Enoch, thou scribe of righteousness, go, declare to the Watchers of the heaven…»Book of Enoch, 3, 41.

And is there, indeed, a quality of a writer higher than “scribe of righteousness”?
